("Gruul the Dragonkiller...killed!" doesn't quite have the same ring to it ok!)
Well after the unexpected hotfix, never one
to look a gift horse in the mouth we decided to make the most of the
changes and see what happens. We'd had several good previous tries and
were getting there so it was no real surprise the altered version went
down and went down hard!
Loot was:
Collar of Cho'gall - Arkos
Gauntlets of the Dragonslayer - Razyen
Leggings of the Fallen Hero - Lórien
Apart from the bugged Hurtfull Strike, he's definately around
where he should be in terms of difficulty, so kudos to Blizz for
bringing the changes forward like that. Some may say he's now too easy
but tbh this guy was never meant to be the real challenge of the
Burning Crusade and its silly to try to defend the old version imo.
Your average guild is still gonna take time to learn him but they are
not hitting the sheer brick wall that he was prior to the changes.
